Coaching Session Policies

1. Hourly Rate and Minimum Session Length

  • The hourly rate for coaching sessions is $125.

  • Each session has a minimum duration of one hour.

2. Prepayment Requirement

  • All coaching sessions must be prepaid in full prior to the scheduled appointment.

3. Rescheduling and No-Show Policy

  • Rescheduling is free if done at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.

  • A $25 rescheduling fee applies for no-shows or missed appointments not rescheduled 24 hours in advance.

  • The rescheduling fee must be paid within 48 hours of the missed appointment.

  • Failure to pay the rescheduling fee within 48 hours will result in the forfeiture of the session.

4. Session Delivery and Privacy

  • Sessions are provided via 1:1 teleconference.

  • All sessions are private and confidential. Information will not be disclosed unless required by law. Please review my Privacy Policy for more information.

  • As a mandated reporter, I must report or ensure client self-reports of any behavior or potential behavior that poses a risk to themselves or others.

5. Professional Boundaries

  • I am not a licensed counselor, doctor, psychologist, or social worker.

  • I offer motivational and inspirational advice only and do not provide clinical or therapeutic services.

  • I do not participate in diagnosing or treating psychological disorders.

  • Despite not having legal confidentiality privileges, I adhere to a professional code of ethics and maintain confidentiality regarding clients' privacy, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

6. Scope of Practice

  • My coaching focuses on empowering clients through motivational techniques and personal development strategies.

  • I do not provide medical, psychological, or financial advice. Clients requiring such advice will be referred to appropriate licensed professionals.

  • It is essential that clients understand the distinction between coaching and professional counseling or therapy. My services are designed to support and enhance personal growth and goal achievement, not to replace professional services.

7. Confidentiality Considerations

  • While I strive to maintain the confidentiality of all client interactions, there are legal exceptions, such as court-ordered mandates or situations where a client discloses intent to harm themselves or others.

  • Client materials and interactions will be appropriately stored or disposed of to maintain confidentiality.

8. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from coaching sessions.

  • It is important for clients to actively participate and engage in the coaching process to achieve the best possible results.

9. Legal and Ethical Compliance

  • I operate in compliance with the legal and ethical standards of the coaching profession.

  • Clients are encouraged to seek legal or professional advice if they have questions regarding the coaching relationship or specific situations.

10. Refunds and Guarantees

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • No guarantees or promised outcomes are provided for the coaching sessions.
