At The Patrick Bass Show, we are committed to ensuring transparency and integrity in all of our advertising partnerships. This advertising policy outlines the terms and conditions under which advertisers may work with us, the expectations for both parties, and the legal protections in place to safeguard The Patrick Bass Show, its host, and its affiliates.
1. Selection of Advertisers
The Patrick Bass Show reserves the right to select advertising partners that align with our core values of authenticity, quality, and relevance. We evaluate all potential advertising partners on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to refuse, reject, or remove any advertisement or advertiser that, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate, misleading, or in conflict with our audience’s values, our brand identity, or applicable laws and regulations.
2. Advertising Content Approval
All advertising content, including but not limited to copy, visuals, offers, and claims, must be pre-approved by The Patrick Bass Show. We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any content that does not meet our standards.
The advertiser is solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the claims, offers, and information presented in their advertisements. The advertiser must ensure that all content complies with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to consumer protection, false advertising, and intellectual property laws.
3. No Guarantee of Results or Engagement
The Patrick Bass Show does not guarantee any specific results or engagement levels (including clicks, conversions, or sales) as a result of the advertisements placed on the show, its associated media, or its website. Advertisers understand and accept that the effectiveness of an advertisement can vary and is not within the control of The Patrick Bass Show.
We are not liable for any perceived or actual lack of engagement, conversion, or financial return as a result of an advertisement. By entering into an agreement with us, advertisers agree that they are responsible for monitoring the success and outcomes of their advertising campaigns.
4. No Endorsement
The airing or publication of an advertisement on The Patrick Bass Show does not constitute an endorsement by Patrick Bass, The Patrick Bass Show, or any of its affiliates. While we select advertising partners carefully, we do not make any guarantees about the quality, reliability, or effectiveness of the advertised products or services.
Advertisers must not imply any endorsement by The Patrick Bass Show unless such an agreement is explicitly made in writing.
5. Host-Read Ads
Host-read advertisements will be read live by Patrick Bass during the show and will become a permanent part of the episode. Once included, they cannot be removed or edited. This type of advertisement offers long-term exposure to the audience.
Pricing for host-read ads reflects their permanent placement and cannot be altered after the recording has been published.
Host-read ads must comply with the same content approval process as pre-recorded ads, and Patrick Bass reserves the right to adjust or edit ad copy for clarity, appropriateness, or compliance with legal standards.
6. Pre-Recorded Ads
Pre-recorded advertisements are programmatically inserted into episodes during post-production and may be removed or updated after the conclusion of the campaign. These ads are not included in the live broadcast and will only be available for a limited period.
Advertisers are responsible for providing pre-recorded ad content that adheres to our content approval guidelines.
7. Ad Placement and Scheduling
While The Patrick Bass Show makes every effort to deliver ads at agreed-upon times and positions, final ad placement is subject to editorial discretion. We reserve the right to adjust the timing and placement of ads to ensure the best audience experience and content flow.
We do not guarantee exact air dates or positions unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. Any failure to meet scheduling preferences does not entitle the advertiser to a refund or cancellation.
8. Advertising Compliance
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their ads comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to:
FTC guidelines on advertising disclosures.
Laws prohibiting false or misleading advertising.
Intellectual property rights, including trademark and copyright law.
Consumer protection laws.
All ads will be clearly marked as sponsored or paid content to maintain transparency with our audience and comply with applicable disclosure regulations.
9. Sponsorship Disclosure
As required by law and for full transparency, The Patrick Bass Show will clearly disclose when content is sponsored or an advertisement is being run. Any sponsored content, host-read ad, or pre-recorded ad will be labeled as such, either verbally or visually, depending on the format.
10. Liability and Indemnification
Advertisers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Patrick Bass, The Patrick Bass Show, and its affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:
The content of advertisements provided by the advertiser.
Any claims made by third parties arising out of the advertiser's products, services, or offers.
Any breach of laws, regulations, or this advertising policy by the advertiser.
Intellectual property disputes or allegations of infringement.
The Patrick Bass Show is not responsible for any errors in advertisement content, including typographical errors, pricing mistakes, or other inaccuracies. The advertiser is responsible for reviewing and approving all final ad content before airing or publication.
11. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will Patrick Bass or The Patrick Bass Show be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to the advertising services provided, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to:
Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities as a result of the advertisement.
Any failure of the advertisement to achieve desired results or engagement.
Any technical difficulties, interruptions, or errors during the broadcast or placement of the advertisement.
12. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the scheduled air date. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made after this period.
For host-read ads, no refunds will be provided once the episode has been recorded and published. For pre-recorded ads, refunds or credits may be issued if the campaign is canceled before the first scheduled air date.
In the event that The Patrick Bass Show is unable to deliver an ad due to technical issues, scheduling conflicts, or other unforeseen circumstances, a pro-rated refund or rescheduling may be offered at the sole discretion of The Patrick Bass Show.
13. Changes to Advertising Policy
The Patrick Bass Show reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to advertisers in writing and posted on our website. Continued advertising with The Patrick Bass Show following any modifications to the policy will constitute acceptance of those changes.
